1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the LocalSEOData API, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LocalSEOData provides a REST API for accessing local search engine optimization data, including but not limited to local pack rankings, business profiles, reviews, citation audits, keyword research, backlink analysis, AI visibility tracking, and geogrid rank scans. Data is sourced from third-party providers and is provided as-is.
3. Accounts and API Keys
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Credits and Billing
The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each API call consumes a specified number of credits. Credits may be purchased on a pay-as-you-go basis or included with a monthly subscription plan. Pay-as-you-go credits never expire. Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. All purchases are non-refundable except as required by law.
5. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service and its data to power your own products, reports, and client deliverables. You may not: (a) resell raw API access without adding value; (b) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service; (d) exceed reasonable rate limits or attempt to circumvent access controls; (e) use the Service to scrape, harvest, or collect personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws.
6. Data Accuracy and Availability
Data provided through the Service is sourced from third parties and is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue endpoints at any time with reasonable notice.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by LocalSEOData. Data returned by the API may be used in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of any products or reports you build using the data.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalSEOData shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
