Connect Your AI App
Gemini
Google replaced the Gemini CLI with Antigravity for free and Google One users in June 2026. The two use different config keys, so pick the one you run.
Antigravity
- In the app, open Customizations > Installed > MCP Servers and click +.
- Or edit
~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"localseodata": {
"serverUrl": "https://mcp.localseodata.com/mcp"
}
}
}
Antigravity signs you in with your Local SEO Data account the first time it connects. In the CLI, type /mcp to manage servers.
Gemini CLI
gemini mcp add --transport http localseodata https://mcp.localseodata.com/mcp
Then run /mcp auth localseodata to sign in. In ~/.gemini/settings.json the key is httpUrl; plain url means the older SSE transport, which Local SEO Data doesn't use.
Using an API key instead
Add "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" } next to serverUrl (Antigravity) or httpUrl (Gemini CLI). You'll find your API key in the API Keys dashboard. It starts with sk_live_.
Gemini Enterprise
Gemini Enterprise can't register a connector by itself: an admin enters a client ID and secret when adding a custom MCP data store. Contact us and we'll set one up.
Check it works
Ask: "What's my Local SEO Data balance?" That calls the free get_balance tool, so it costs nothing and shows the connection is live. Then try a real question, like "Who are the top 3 on Google Maps for plumbers in Denver?" Most answers cost 2 to 10 credits, and new accounts start with 100.
