Perplexity

1. In Perplexity, open Plugins in the sidebar (or Customize > Connectors).
2. Click Add custom, then Add MCP connector, then Remote.
3. Name it Local SEO Data and enter https://mcp.localseodata.com/mcp.
4. Under Advanced, choose OAuth 2.0 and Streamable HTTP.
5. Add it, then click the Local SEO Data card to sign in and turn it on.

On Enterprise, an admin first has to turn on "Allow members to add custom connectors".

Using an API key instead

• Choose API Key under Advanced and paste your key.

You'll find your API key in the API Keys dashboard. It starts with sk_live_.

Check it works

Ask: "What's my Local SEO Data balance?" That calls the free get_balance tool, so it costs nothing and shows the connection is live. Then try a real question, like "Who are the top 3 on Google Maps for plumbers in Denver?" Most answers cost 2 to 10 credits, and new accounts start with 100.
