Geogrid
Using Geogrid with Claude
The geogrid endpoint is especially powerful when combined with Claude via the MCP server. Claude can interpret the raw grid data and generate narrative analysis.
Setup Install the MCP server (see MCP Server docs), then ask Claude:
"Run a geogrid scan for [business] in [city] for [keyword]"
Claude will call the API, receive the grid data, and provide:
- A plain-English summary of geographic strengths and weaknesses
- Specific zone-by-zone analysis
- Actionable recommendations for improving weak areas
- Comparison with previous scans if available
Example Prompts
- "Scan Joe's Pizza in Brooklyn for pizza and tell me where they're weakest"
- "Compare this week's geogrid to last week's for my client"
- "Which areas should I focus review generation campaigns on?"
- "Run a 7x7 scan and create a client-ready summary"
Tips
- Use 5x5 for quick checks and 7x7 or 9x9 for detailed client reports
- Ask Claude to format results as a table for easy reading
- Chain geogrid with competitor-gap for a complete geographic competitive analysis
- Claude can detect patterns (like directional bias) that are hard to spot in raw numbers
