Using Geogrid with Claude

The geogrid endpoint is especially powerful when combined with Claude via the MCP server. Claude can interpret the raw grid data and generate narrative analysis.

**Setup** Install the MCP server (see MCP Server docs), then ask Claude:

"Run a geogrid scan for [business] in [city] for [keyword]"

Claude will call the API, receive the grid data, and provide: - A plain-English summary of geographic strengths and weaknesses - Specific zone-by-zone analysis - Actionable recommendations for improving weak areas - Comparison with previous scans if available

**Example Prompts** - "Scan Joe's Pizza in Brooklyn for pizza and tell me where they're weakest" - "Compare this week's geogrid to last week's for my client" - "Which areas should I focus review generation campaigns on?" - "Run a 7x7 scan and create a client-ready summary"

**Tips** - Use 5x5 for quick checks and 7x7 or 9x9 for detailed client reports - Ask Claude to format results as a table for easy reading - Chain geogrid with competitor-gap for a complete geographic competitive analysis - Claude can detect patterns (like directional bias) that are hard to spot in raw numbers
